How to easily work Across Time Zones in Microsoft Outlook

Outlook allows you to maintain dual time zones which is very useful if you are a frquent traveller crossing several time-zones. Here's how you go about getting this done:

  • Under Tools > Options > Calendar Options... > Time Zone... check "Show an additional time zone"
The Calendar will now display the additional time zone. To swap time zones:
  • Under Tools > Options > Calendar Options... > Time Zone... click "Swap Time Zone" to adjust your appointments and your system clock.
Because Microsoft hasn't figured out that an "All-day event" is still an all-day event, you can set them up as 5 AM to 10 PM, or a 5-day event as 5 AM Monday to 10 PM Friday.
