How to Enable Windows to Show File Extensions?

Ever wonder where you file extensions went?

Working with files when you can not tell what the file extension can be a huge pain in the neck, but there is a way out.

In any folder that contains files, click on the
Tools menu and select Folder Options, then click on the View tab. Locate where it lists Hide extensions for known file types and uncheck it. Click OK.

Also How to say Bye-bye to the Search Doggy

Make your Volume Control Smaller

Volume control too big? Open the volume control window and press Ctrl+S for a smaller one. Now every time that you open volume control, the smaller controls will be visible.
